Sorry if I misunderstood your post. I got the impression that you felt the TTL
system of the OM-2 might be somehow unreliable in general. I also wanted to
counter the thought that somehow the OM-2 was not compatible with the T32. While
I did not have a specific suggestion of how to solve your immediate problem, I
thought it might be helpful to know that others (specifically myself) have not
had a problem with reliability in this area. by stating that my particular
system has been reliable for a long period of time I was suggesting that the
problem was not a design problem, but something specifically related to you
particular camera.
Perhaps you could borrow the OM-10 and T20 from your mother and use these in
combination with the OM-2 and T32 to isolate the problem.
If not, then I do think sending (both) in for repair would be a good solution at
this point.
