I'm sure there are many of the decision-makers who are thinking like
that. But I fear there are also many who are like ex-General Wesley
Clark, now a CNN consultant, who have total faith in the strong
application of military force.
I hope that reason prevails and that careful application of force and
many other measures will be used. The US has almost all the world on
its side right now, mainly from sympathy, partly from fear. This
momentum should be used wisely.
