So long as there are very strong divisions in the world, of wealth,
of culture, of religion, there will be clashes.
We have to find peaceful ways to resolve problems, compromise, accept
others, benefit all. The UN is one way, the Peace Corps and CUSO
another, international camps, scholarships, and so on.
I think bussing really helped to reduce the psychology of segregation
and bias -- others may argue with me on this. We need more global
"bussing" where people old and young can live in another culture, not
particularly to "help," but to learn.
