I would expect bin Laden to hide in a densly populated area just for
this reason. We'd have to carpet bomb whatever city he's in to get him.
The political fallout from such an act would be hard. 

I suppose he has bunkers in the mountains also, which he may prefer to
hide within. These would be harder to get at depending on how deep they
are.
