Yes, I also understand it can prevent any argument from the TIFF fans.
When I set up my web page of E-10 and velvia comparison someone said
the artifacts shown on the digital camera shot could be due to JPG
compression, so I have to include a TIF file, but it was only a small
area crop so no problem for download. Of course I know it very well
the artifacts was due to in-camera sharpening not JPG compression.
