Me, too, Jim. Same thing happens in the Skagit Valley. You can be in
pouring rain in Mt. Vernon (35 inches a year annual rainfall), and see open
sky over the San Juans (the "Banana Belt") and Whidbey Island (17 inches a
year annual rainfall). Cascade foothills back up those clouds like a bad
commute.
