A close refuge from the rain is the Sequim/Dungeness area just east of Port
Angeles. It lies in the rain shadow of the Olympics and has reliable dry weather
nearly year round, and particularly in the summer. I have been dry in the Sequim
and watched the rain pouring down just a few miles away in Port Angeles.
Dungeness
Spit features a game reserve and there is also the Olympic game farm, both great
areas for photography.
