Well, central Oregon is certainly rainy enough...once, I was driving to a
gathering of friends due west of Eugene about an hour or so. At night. In
the rain. Down twisty turny unlighted narrow mountain roads. In the rain.
In a rental car that I'd never driven before. Did I mention it was raining?
Man, that was some kind of hairy trip...
