Hi,
I've spent 60 $ for my 85/2 and after making the aperture blades work properly
and refitting the missing stop-bolt on the bajonet ring, it performs really
well (see my message from some weeks ago). I also use it wide open for concert
photography. The first results were really good. They will be available on my
homepage (http://vendelbogade5.homepage.dk) soon.
I've just been assigned to be photographer at a local rock open air later this
month (without being paid for that). Although I'll have to carry a digital
video cam and a digital cam during the four days, I'll get full stage access
and use that opportunity for making lots of pictures with the 85/2, among
others. I've been there last year, too and handled a digital video camera the
first time in my life, shooting interviews with some of the "local stars".
Quite an experience.
Go for the 85/2, if you like a small and light lens.
Best regards
Bernd
