Well I've just re-subscribed after 9 days in the Loire valley of France. I
found that I carried around my OM2SP, 24mm 2.8, 35-70mm 3.5-4.5 and 135mm 3.5
most of the time as it all fits snugly in a small Oyster camera bag. Why is
this 135mm not more highly regarded? - it has good test results and is light
and unobtrusive. Lots of shots of chateaux, interiors and exteriors. What
surprised me most is the extent of use of the 24mm - such a suitable lens for
room interiors, expansive chateaux and narrow French streets. The 135mm caught
some "candids" at markets etc.
For me, it does appear that the lenses I use are mainly determined by the
amount I'm willing to carry around. I'm now starting to go out to familiar
spots with just one lens - it really allows you to concentrate on the shot
rather than the gear.
It's good to read the lists again, "bon chance" to you all.
