I saw some scanned photos from Supra that blew me away - so I just started
using it! It is extremely fine grained and was formulated to use in
scanners (so the marketing hype says!!). I found the colors to be quite
true - although it's not as favorable to skin tones. For portraits, Kodak
porta is a better stock. Supra comes in 100, 400 and 800 - although each
can easily be pushed up to 2 stops. I haven't tried that yet, but I am
going to order and try some of the 800. I found the 400 to be also fine
grained and probably close to what Kodacolor 100 was about 5 years ago - but
the colors are not as 'harsh'. I haven't used reala in some time, but I
think this beats superia! I wish it was easier to come by! I have to order
it from Adorama or B&H - I can't find anyone locally who carries it. A roll
of the ISO 100 is about $2.89 for 36 exposures.
