The Epic is probably the sharpest AF P&S non-zoom camera I've ever seen in
it's price range. I've seen atleast 5 different samples producing very
sharp prints!

Subject: RE: [OM] XA or Epic?
| John,
|
| When I retired the company presented me with a Stylus Epic. I already had
| an M3 Leica and a Mamiya 35mm both with a fair few accessories. I took the
| Epic on a trip down to South Australia and left all the rest at home in
| Sydney. The ten rolls of film yielded very satisfying results and I found
| the 4-element f2.8 lens to be remarkably sharp.
|
| Hope this helps.
|
| John.

|
| Hello everybody,
| I'm thinking of buying a small rangefinder, small enough to carry in my
| shirt pocket. I know this has been discussed before, but I guess I wasn't
| paying much attention ;>{. My choices seem to have narrowed to the Epic
| (fixed lens, not zoom), the XA, and the Rol*ei 35 S or SE. I'd appreciate
| your thoughts.
| Regards,
| John P
