A, 'lag time' ?? - quess this is the word, I was looking for. Is this the
time between
pressing the shutter release button, and the exposure of the film?
I thougth about to use the term 'shutter release delay' is this correct too?
For me this time-lag(?) was crucial not to buy a AF-body when looking
for a SLR-camera in 1993. This is why I bought my first OM.

I agree, my parents still use a Rolley 35. - Great viewfinder for such a
compact camera.
Almost OM`isch :-). But take care about the battey. There are version which use
the same
batteries like the OM-1.
