I'd go with the 2 or 2n. I own both, and I trust them at least as much as my
OM-1, but they offer an auto-mode in addition to everything the 1 has. The
only advantage of the 1 (don't get me wrong here, I _love_ my OM-1, but am
speaking from a practical point of view here) is that it can be used without
a battery if you can guesstimate the exposure (needs the battery only for
the meter). While the 1 (unless you have it modified) uses a mercury battery
which gets harder and harder to obtain, the 2 and 2n use silver cells which
are readily available.
It's hard to decide between the 2 and the 2n - while nothing beats the 2
when it comes to long-time available darkness exposures (my favorite kind of
shots) on auto, the 2n comes close in this department and offers a flash
display in the viewfinder which is real handy when using TTL or regular auto
flash. When it comes to reliability, I trust the 1, 1n, 2 and 2n more than
any of the later bodies; to me, they also feel more solid, and the mechanics
seem smoother. Nothing like the velvety feel of winding a 2n.
I also own an OM-4, and while I have been using it a lot recently, if I had
to make up my mind for just one body, it would be either the 2 or the 2n.
