I was going to say the same thing, but referencing the OM-10 instead. Of
course, with the OM-10 manual mode (via the manual adapter) is an add-on,
but with patience and care one can get an OM-10 with 50/1.8 and manual
adapter in the US$50.00 range.

Tom!!! As President of Zuikoholics Anonymous
(http://www.nucleus.com/~coneill/mypictures/zuikoholism/index.html), I must
say that the above statement is a VERY health sign! To actually
*recommend* that someone buy a C*n*n or N*k*n instead of an Olympus shows
that, indeed, the addiction has not *totally* gripped you and that there
*is* still hope!
I do hope that this healthy sign is an indication that you're going into a
remission phase. If so, you can speed-up your recovery by packing-up ALL
of your OM equipment (including all those "obscure" focusing screens!), and
donate them to Zuikoholics Anonymous! Please advise when your equipment is
on the way... I want to inform our new neighbors that the impending
arrival of a convoy of moving vans *doesn't* mean that we're moving again!
You know the address...
Regards,
Chris
Zuikoholics Anonymous President
P.S. [Taking Zuikoholics Anonymous hat off....] BURN THE HERETIC!!!! :-)
