I used to use this setup to shoot rodeo and NiCd's worked fine . I would
typically shoot about ten rolls or so in a couple hours on sequence mode. Can't
speak for NiMH, but I'd think some of the newer high capacity ones would do
well. Keep in mind, you're getting ~14.4v instead of 18v with the 1.2v
rechargebles. I'm not sure what the effect of that is (less FPS?). It is near
the voltage produced by the M.15V NiCd Control Pack , though.
