They are often reasonably easy to fix (switch, or sticky magnet etc) , so
make excellent cameras for hazardous trips (river etc) or for your young
kids. I have fixed about three over the years. One was stolen from my son's
photo class. So I still have two but after fixing a couple of OMPC's, which
are better cameras, I did not bother fixing one of them which developed a
sticky magnet.
I bought one new in 1980 with a Manual Adapter, 50/1.8 F.Zuiko, T-20, and
semi-hard case. Don't recall what I paid for it but the receipt(s) are
still around.
Used the OM-10 with 50/1.8 F.Zuiko and Manual Adapter for the ADITL II 50mm
theme, among some other shots of the White River State Park on the same
roll. What better tribute to a body and lens than use for an ADITL or
TOPE? Does that count?
