I think that is in all sales. I get so irritated with sales calls because
they keep on with their pitch after being told I'm not interested. After
being polite, I just hang up.
Several years ago I tried switching from teaching in Virginia to sales. I
couldn't handle the idea of not taking a person at their word after I had
intruded on their privacy. Haggling over a price is one thing, but what I
saw was beyond unchristian, it was rude and uncivilized. Made lots of money
but got out fast.
