I have one of those, and I don't recommend it at all (I tried it with my
Tamron 500/8 cat). You can't focus it accurately at all using the clear
field and the central microprism darkens (IMO) unacceptably at F/8.

Best option (IMO): a 2-4 or the Beattie equivalent, closely followed by
a 1-4 or 4n. You can see some results of 500/8 and 1-4 screen at
