Ugh...one of my true pet peeves. I loathe wrestling with mechanical
multiple exposure devices. That's one area where newer cameras - like the
iS-series - truly shine.
That gripe aired, I must say the OM-1 multiple exposure mechanism feels more
secure than that on my CannotanOMon FTbn and similar SLRs on which you mash
the release button on the bottom.

so that the film will not move and thus not cause loss of resolution?
