I would have to agree. I seem to prefer the OM-2S to all other bodies, but I
like my OM-4T too and would have to give it the edge for ruggedness and
repairability. I'm staking my long-term commitment to Olympus on the OM-4T.
Actually on the OM-4T and (horror of horrors) the OM2000. I do occasionally
want a mechanical camera and feel the OM2000, despite some shortcomings, is
fully capable of achieving the results I need from a mechanical camera.
Funny, despite having said that, I'm very glad I started into Olympus with the
OM-1 and then moved to the OM-2S. I think I learned to use a meter well with
the OM-1 and I think I learned to use auto mode and spot metering well with
the OM-2S. These things have probably made it easier for me to decide quickly
how to use the more complex array of capabilities of the OM-4T.
