Not to split hairs (or Francs), but I read the seller's description as
"NIB-", which I interpreted as "New In Box, Minus". And in the text he
describes it as "...almost new in box."
The nearest to objectionable thing I could find was the seller's implication
that retouching the missing distance markings could restore the lens to NIB
condition. I just regarded that as something lost in translation, not
intent to deceive.
And $580! Whew. I figured I was exaggerating when I guessed $500 (okay, I
used Francs at the time, but the exchange rate has varied since then). And
I thought Tom was over the top at $535.
Those are about the purtiest OM product photos I've seen on eBay...the kind
that sucks the money right outta peoples' pockets.
