Many thanks for the comments on setting up a lens with an adaptall
2. The e-mail was awaiting my return from a day or two away using the OM2SP
(but without a tripod and hence without the 500 lens).
Your ideas fit my recollection of what I did ie move a 'lever' round
without the correct setting being obvious. I have just taken in for
developing the film that has most of my test shots with the Tamron lens and
I am awaiting the results with interest. However, I do not expect to reach
your standards as I am very much a learning amateur who finds moving objects
distinctly difficult to get appropriately in focus. Especially if the
movement is relatively unpredictable like children and wildlife!
No problems with movement yesterday as I accompanied my wife along a
geological trail - instead there was a torrential downpour which created its
own problems when changing lenses and using flash!
