Thomas, I've farm rigged together various methods to put up slave flashes:
duct tape, velcro straps, woodworking utility clamps, etc. The lightweight
plastic utility clamps didn't work out quite as well as I'd hoped - the
springs are powerful enough to damage surfaces and using the larger clamps
takes two hands. Duct tape is handy but messy. Velcro straps may be the
best solution. Or adjustable nylon straps with plastic buckles.
BTW, I've tried using kids as gaffers, etc. They get tired and whiney and
you have to feed 'em ice cream every 30 minutes.
