I'm not from NY but I thought I would add my $0.02 here. When I traveled to
NYC several years ago I was afraid to even take my beloved OMs along. What
a mistake! I felt safer than in many smaller cities I live near. Central
Park is quite entertaining if you enjoy watching people. All the clichés -
buildings etc. - are worth taking photos of, although a local could tell you
better about photo etiquette.
