All this bare bones rig talk has me pondering. I believe mine would omit
anything in the 35-40mm range. Just occurred to me I'd need a backup camera
and the Olympus XA-series or 35RC have those covered.
Ross's experience was interesting. Did you find the 85/2 useful because it
was easier to shoot some structures from w-a-y back rather than with a WA
from up close? It would certainly eliminate the perspective exaggeration
"problem" if one can move back just enough and use a moderate tele. Of
course, I don't always consider exaggerated perspective a problem, and I
suspect most of us like it at least sometimes.
