There may be some OM-PC's out there with brass top and bottom plates,
but the one I've torn down had a copper or brass plating over the
plastic top plate - it wasn't metal through-and-through by any means. I
think the bottom plate is the same.
Thats not an entirely bad thing, though, it makes for a very light
camera. Couple it with the Zuiko 35-70/f3.5-4.5 lens, and you have a very
light, extremely capable camera perfect for backpacking!
