It's those guys in advertising again! They switch from advertising White
Castles one day to OM-4Ti's the next. But last year I was getting 1 minute +
exposures in the dark slot canyons of Utah in auto-spot. mode so I have no
real complaints about the low light capabilities of the spot meter.
On the other hand, my brochure indicates averaging range from -5EV to 19EV
and spot range from 0 EV to 19 EV. I would think that this would be a more
correct indication of the range because less light would be integrated into
the metering circuit by the spot meter as compared to the averaging system.
I still have an OM-2 if I need to go really really low.
