there is also a separate hood for the 50/1.2? Is this a screw-in or

My slide on hood for the "50 f1.4, 50 f1.8 and 35 f2.8" came on a 28 f3.5
lens.
I can not see any vignetting with the 28 f3.5 and need to try it on film to
be sure.
I never noticed anything wrong in the past before Gary Reese pointed out
that it was the wrong hood. I never checked before that, Duh!
Has anyone tried this combination?
Also, it seems that the thread to tighten the screw had been stripped.
Has anyone had this problem and are there any remedies?
