The quality numbers for sharpness and contrast are basing on MTF
measuring. The maximum number for sharpness, contrast is 30, for
centering is 20 and for distortion, vignetting is 10, max. total is
100.

I picked up one of these a couple of months ago but haven't had a chance to
compare it with the 28/2.8, which I never had any real complaints about.
What is great about the 2.0 version is that it acheives maximum sharpness at
f4 or f5.6 per Gary Reese's tests. Additionally it has close-focus correction
making it a more useful lens.
