If my brother if ever present while I'm shooting (or I feel benevolent
enough at the moment to hand him the camera to shoot), all he wants to do
is cock the shutter /just/ to feel the ratcheted silky advance and then
release it to have snap back like a crisp salute. I can't really blame the
poor chap; I myself have a soft spot for that. When changing film, I go
thru a few quick "exposures". Ahhh, bliss.....
I was expecting the worst re. my star photos. Not so; of my 6 exposures, 4
were printable, and show up clearly and with lots of color. Only
disappointment was that on the 5 hour shot, there is some fogging from
ambient light. That was when I used the 28/3.5. The rest were on the
50/1.8MC, both set with the 28's hood for added safety.
