Some quick notes on NiCds:
recharge them only when they are down; they have a nasty habit, called
"memory". In effect, you lose capacity (read: fewer flash cycles, etc)
If you have charger that can cycle, so much the better (discharges and
recharges the batts).
Periodically check for leaking chemicals--those are nasty and will corrode
your gear given half a chance.
Hmm, anything like the Sony InfoLithiums available in these sizes?
