I was given a Tokina AT-X 35-70 zoom lens.  To close the the f-stop down
the ring is turned clockwise.  Can't speak to any other of their lenses.
I sure agree that in the dark or near dark, or when speed of composition
etc is concerned, it is good to have all the lenses similar.
