The Vert Institute for Advanced Graphical Related Arts (VIAGRA) has
recently completed a study on the prospects of actually receiving anything
even remotely similar to what was ordered from Cambridge. Results? It has
been determined that Cambridge exists solely because of the inane desire to
save two bucks over purchasing the same item from your local dealer or from
a more reputable store such as B&H.
In other words, their greed is only matched by our greed.
To quote a former listmember: "Think, people, think!" Do you REALLY think
that Cambridge will sell you a brand-new, unused, full-US warrenty, current
firmware Nikon F5 for $1300? They'll probably give you an old beat-up
N8008 and a coupon for 12 rolls of K-Mart film while charging your credit
card for $2100.
The only way to deal with Cambridge is to "remind" them that Vito and his
pals are cousins of yours. "Mespa?"
