The first thing is to choose a film that allows shutter speeds at or below
1/60th sec. That is pretty much ISO 25 and 50 speed films.
Next, you have to control the flash distance to get 1/2 to 1/4 of correct
exposure with the flash unit, at the aperture you choose. You are pretty
well restricted to f/16 if you are in bright sunlight. The neutral density
filters on the T-32 can help if you are really close (e.g., macro work). In
practice, you aren't going to be able to work much further than 1:10
magnification. That is due to the limitations of the 1/60th sync speed, one
of the OM systems Achilles Heels.
Check the List archives from last year. I posted a table of manual flash
settings to get 1/2 flash fill with a 50mm macro or 135mm macro and a T-32
flash.
