Of cause you do not have to to glue the rubber to the barrel! That would
be a disaster. You only have to glue the seam. Shorten the rubber sleeve
just so much that no glue between the rubber and the barrel is needed.
Sorry for my bad english, that probably made my explanation hard to
understand.
