What you say is possible but as Gary pointed out there is nowhere in the sales
literature where the blade count is given for each lens so Olympus is not
varying
the blade count for the sake of hype. As you pointed out, there are some
lenses
with only five or six blades so If Olympus chooses to use more in certain
lenses
there is probably a good technical reason for it.
