Hi ! I am brand new on this list - I'm a Minolta (Manual Focus) user and member of the Minolta Mailing List. Although I am happy with my (pretty old) Minolta equipment (I use a XE-7 and X700) I am looking for something a little bit more "upmarket" - I don't need a big name (NIKON) but I do need a spotmeter (and would love a mulitspot metering) and a sturdy metal camera. So I've been looking at the Olympus OM-4 (Ti) and have arrived with some questions - I'd be grateful for any inputs... 1) Can you please comment on the usability and durability of the OM-4 (and how about the OM-4Ti - any different?) 2) Are there any more differences apart from body material and the flash sync ? 3) What are the best 50mm and medium tele (portrait) lenses (85mm-135mm) ? 4) Are there any know trouble spots on the OM-4 ? How about the winder/motor ? Many TIA Matthias < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
