Hey, I have an extra 2 cents to put in!
I have been watching this thread for a while and it shows the dilemma we
have if we want to use long lenses.
If you want to shoot long, you need a long lens.
If you have a long lens, you need a heavy tripod.
If you want to find wildlife, etc, you have to go for a long walk.
Carrying one necessitates the other.
It is a matter of controlling the amplified vibration and amount of
enlargement.
I don't think that a Benbo is going to be much better than a Bogen than a
Slick
if the weight and conditions are the same.
I agree with Doris, I like my little lenses.
