Every rubber hood I've seen works fine on a standard lens - most seem to be
designed for about a 35mm lens. I just bend the rubber inward at the corners of
the frame to see how much it can take before vignetting - if it vignettes right
away, then you may problems, and if it takes quite a lot of bending to appear
in the finder, then you could use a narrower hood.
Or you could try to find the slick Oly hood, which I now have... (thanks Gary!)
