Yes, I use the flip bracket too. I just tried mounting the Winder 2 on the
bracket but the thumb screw seems to be too long, bottoming out in the
winder socket. Is this the problem you are referring to? I plan to put a
washer on the thumbscrew rather than a rubber spacer (gasket?) on the camera
side of the bar.

If I can't do TTL flash with the SB-25 I could always switch it to use the
flash-mounted thyrister eye, but I will keep an eye out for a T-32 or maybe
even a Metz?
