Re your "made for Olympus" statement. I have a perfectly functioning
set of auto extention tubes, brand name "Venus" and that's just a
sticker on the box. The thing is, I bought them just after I bought my
first OM1 when it first came out. At that time Olympus didn't even
offer "auto" extention tubes. About five years later I purchased an
Olympus 36mm extention tube and it was still manual. I wonder why it
took them so long to market an auto tube ?
