I like putting 14mm of extension behind a 24/2.8. It allows me to get
"inside" flowers. Putting a 21mm extension tube on a 24/2.8 allows you to
focus on things sitting on the flont element. Obviously working distance is
compromised--but focussing is easier. <g>
