This past weekend, I shot a roll of Fujitsu print film (ASA 200)
with my OM-1, I used a Sunpak flash which has its own automatic
control. The OM-1 was set at 1/60 second, 35-70 zoom lens at F8,
all in accordance with the calculator on the flash. However,
when I get the prints back, all the flash shots were black, as if
there was no flash at all. During the shoot, I can see the flash
going off, and I put in a fresh set of batteries before the shoot.
The flash was mounted on the hot shoe.
I've used this combination of flash + OM-1 previously and never
had any problems. So what could have gone wrong? The negatives
were almost clear, it was as if there was no flash/light at all.
Any ideas?
