I gave up on weddings after it turned out my Winder 2 had not fully advanced
the frames of my main shooting camera. I had overlapping frames galore. It
just isn't worth the anxiety anymore. Years earlier I had a malfunctioning
Yashica TLR that severely reduced the number of shots I got of my mom's
wedding. It is even worse when the bad shoot is within the family.
Should I admit to having photographed my own wedding? I took a number of
predetermined shots using my stepdad as the shutter releaser. I knew what I
wanted more than anyone I trusted, so it worked for me. I wouldn't recommend
it, though. Enjoy the wedding, instead!!!
Best of luck.
