Kerguellan Is is much more suitable - many K south west of Western Australia in the southern ocean. I have heard nothing but uncomplimentary things about the weather there. Owned by the French and rumored to have been the next nuclear testing site once Muraroa atol had been sunk. I am sure Gary would approve it's suitability.
