Bonjour Kristine,
Bienvenue (as I'm French speaking),
my "working-tools" are not my OMs (1, 2, 4Ti) but a Betacam as my job is in
"moving pictures. I always have a Mju zoom with me and sometimes, with the
Betacam on one shoulder, I make "stills" with the Mju in the other hand?
But more often I like the lightness and the feeling of my OMs for all sorts
of personal pictures. I also like the fastness and the "all-in
oneness"(Belgian neologism) of the IS-3000 which is a good solution when
you are already charged with an heavy video equipment, a fine tool to make
people's pictures .
The OM 10 was the Olympus I recommend to my sister when she start in
photography and she still use and like it.
For me there is not really a difference between "confirmed-amateurs" and
professionals except that latter ones are paid for their "passion", but of
course it's only my humble point of view
