Your point is well-taken. One of the reasons I asked the question was that
discussion of OM-2(x) and -4(x) board failures seemed to give the impression
that a good working example was in danger of imminent demise. From the
responses, I believe we have a proper correction of this impression. I had
just found a good working OM-2S and was starting to feel like it was a time
bomb. Most of these responses have quelled my fears. I like the camera a
lot and hope to have it for many years.
