Not for me. A perfectly usable lens with decent sharpness, and IMHO,
very likeable optical flavor. Definitely not up to "MC standards" in heavy
backlighting, yet, my personal favorite of the trio.

Yes, IMHO, the "best" (by the usual standards) of the three.

Definitely noticeable in heavy backlighting and in other ways as well.
It changes the overall character of the lens (this is true for all
lenses).

Is that vignetting, or the more common (in complex lenses) light
fall-off? IMHO, I think it is the latter, but maybe JH can shed light (no
pun intended) on the subject.
