Olympus could achieve the same effect (without the EOS' light loss at
the film plane) by including _true_ mirror lockup, disengaging the
mirror mechanism completely, and a silent shutter. Viewing when the
mirror is locked up could then be via an accessory viewfinder that slips
into the hot shoe. A sync socket would allow flash to be used with this
setup. It might also increase motor drive speed.
